User- / Personnel Numbers
Via optional PC software, the system can be configured in such a way that persons can
enter the personnel number they are used to instead of entering user numbers specific
for the system.
Via the user matrix of the PC software, for example, you can set the general input of
personnel numbers instead of user numbers in the following way:
1) Tick / Mark box
„Personnel number“.
2) Into column
„Personnel number“, enter the personnel numbers of the users.
In order to reverse this setting and have users enter their user number again:
• Remove the tick / mark from box „Personnel number“.
Note:
Personnel numbers (for all users, for masters, too) can be transferred via Bluetooth /
USB with QPad / card TwinCard configuration II. Personnel numbers may not contain
leading zero digits. Uniformly, they may contain any number of digits from 1 to 6.
There is no internal protocol saying which kind of numbers is to be used by users. The
setting of the type of numbers to be used applies to lock masters, too. Even with
personnel numbers used, user numbers are on display with the menus
„User display“
and „Deleting“ [PIN codes] of the operating unit.
