Displaying the Hidden Menu
Some basic settings can be configured via the hidden menu. Every user can
display the menu. Certain changes of settings (language import, setting the
time, and alarm device settings) require the system manager code,
registering new users via this menu requires single-use code, as it may be.
1.
Press
Clear
and release it immediately.
Date and time are on display.

Press
Enter
and keep it depressed.
Language
is displayed.

Confirm
Language
with
Enter
or with key < or key > select another item and
confirm selecting that item with
Enter
.
Selecting a language as well as the settings “Backlight”, “Loudspeaker” and
displaying the battery power do not require entering the system manager code.

In order to change other settings, enter the system manager code and change the
setting.
With QPad only: Menu item „Terminal“ concerns operation unit settings:
„Loudspeaker“ = emission of acoustic signals on / off
„Lighting“ = Lighting of display on / off [Attention: might impair readability].
„Contrast“ = Contrast graphic characters against display background.
Change or confirm each setting in order to have the next displayed.
