Function Overview
The INSYS ADSL 1.1 provides you with the following functions:
Additional software watchdog
The INSYS ADSL 1.1 also provides a software watchdog for function
monitoring in addition to the hardware watchdog.
Bridge for PPPoE connections
The INSYS ADSL 1.1 can forward PPPoE connections to the DSL
provider.
Router for PPPoA connections
The INSYS ADSL 1.1 can establish PPPoA connections to the DSL
provider.
Configurable via CLI
The INSYS ADSL 1.1 allows a comfortable configuration via
command line (CLI, Command Line Interface).
LED display for operating state
The INSYS ADSL 1.1 allows easy monitoring of the operating state via
LEDs at the front of the device.
Reset input
The INSYS ADSL 1.1 allows a software restart, a hardware restart, as
well as a reset to default settings via input or reset key.
Dying Gasp support
The INSYS ADSL 1.1 provides an internal buffer to be able to dispatch
a dying gasp signal in case of shutdown of the INSYS ADSL 1.1 or
loss of power. This enables a faster re-establishment of the
connection.
