Battery Replacement
If the server clock displays wrong date and time, you may need to replace the
battery with one that supplies power for a real-time clock.
Improper use of the battery pack may cause fire and burns. To reduce the risk of
personal injury:
Do not try to recharge the battery.
Do not expose the battery to an environment where the temperature is
higher than 60°C (140°F).
Do not disassemble, crush, or puncture the battery, short-circuit the external
contacts of the battery, or expose the battery to fire or water.
Replace with the spare parts designed for this product only.
To remove the component:
1.
Power off the server.
2.
Pull the server out of the rack.
3.
Remove the server top cover.
4.
Remove the air director.
5.
Remove the battery.
