Hot-Swap Storage Drive Replacement 

 

For proper cooling, do not operate the server without the top cover, air ducts, 
expansion slot covers, or blanks installed. If the server supports hot-swap 
components, minimize the amount of time the top cover is open. 

 

To remove the drive: 

1.

 

Remove the hot-swap drive.

Press the release latch to release the lever. The lever pops up 
automatically.
