To turn off the child lock, press and hold both the
Soil Level
and
Temp
buttons
for three seconds.
Washer options and settings
• For best performance, the maximum load weight = 18.7 lbs. (8.5 kg) (dry
clothes).
• Bolded options are initial settings.
•
(dots) indicate optional functions you can
select.
WARNING:
If your washer is turned off after the child lock functionality has been turned on, the
lid unlocks and the water is drained from the tub. The child lock function remains on.
To restart your washer, turn your washer on, turn off the child lock function, then
select your cycle option and press the
/Start/Pause
button to activate your
washing cycle.
Notes:
• For child safety reasons, you can use the child lock function when you turn off your
washer. Press the
/Power
button, turn on the child lock function, then press the
/Power
button to turn off your washer. When you want to use your washer, you
need to turn off the lock function.
• If your washer displays the
E3
code while the child lock is turned on and you're
running a load, your washer waits 20 seconds for you to turn off the child lock. If
you don't turn off the lock, your washer displays
CL
and drains all the water from
the tub. To clear the alarm, press the
/Power
button to turn off your washer. To
continue running the load, turn on your washer, then turn off the child lock. You
can use your washer normally.
