Option Management
Selecting menu item
Option Management
will display a screen with
option information. At
the top of the screen,
the scanner’s
Reg. ID
is displayed, below is a
list of already installed
Active Options
. Options
are upgrades which will
improve the scanner’s
performance and capa-
bilities and may be re-
troactively purchased or leased. In the example shown
to the left, both Active Options are speed options, one
for 220 ppm (
1222
) and one for 300 ppm (
1230
) through-
put. Field
Option Code
, at the bottom of the screen, may
be used to add further options. To do so, first enter an
option code using the keypad, then tap button
Apply
.
If the option code is invalid, you will receive the error
message shown to the left.
4.7.4.
Time Settings
If an external scan ap-
plication is used, the
scanner’s time and date
settings are automati-
cally synchronized with
those of the scan PC, as
soon as it is connected.
If the scanner’s internal
scan client is used, this
will not happen and you
can use the sliders on
this screen to manually
set the scanner’s time
and date, instead.

All settings on this
screen are general
settings and therefo-
re equally apply to all
users, jobs and profiles.
Each of these settings
will be discussed in de-
tail, below.
