Caution
, the fall prevention system for windows utilises spring pre-tension.
Slacken
the fall prevention system for windows before you transport it (Fig. 2). To slacken the
fall prevention system for windows, place it on a solid surface and hold on to the galvanised
(silver) part before releasing the lock by pulling locking bolt

.
Caution
, the fall prevention
system slackens (risk of injury). When pulling locking bolt
A
, make sure not to prevent the
galvanised (silver) part from shooting out, as this will damage the restraint system. It is,
therefore, important to extend the system slowly.

Pre-adjustment:
Hold the slacked fall prevention system for windows with both hands, pull
locking bolt
B
, and adjust the system to the respective window size using the adapter. Correct
setting: = (light width of the window frame plus approx. 50 mm to 150 mm (Fig. 3).
Attention: make sure locking bolt B has snapped back into place after each pre-
adjustment!
Proceed by shortening the fall prevention system for windows by pulling locking A,
pushing the perforated silver extension inward, and releasing locking bolt A again.
Your
fall prevention system is now pre-adjusted.
