Engine Maintenance

DV6NR Diesel Engine

This unit uses a new engine called the DV6NR. Common Rail fuel injection system, which used 
electronically controlled fuel injectors to reduce emissions. An EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system 
and DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst) exhaust after-treatment system and turbo charger also reduce 
emissions so the engine is EPA Tier 4 compliant. An ECU (Engine Control Unit) monitors and controls 
engine operation. The unit controller indirectly monitors and controls the engine through the ECU.
