8-8-1-7 Humidity
Humidity remains in the atmosphere even on bright days. Water of all three states
can be found naturally in the atmosphere. Water in any state is an obstacle to
accurate acoustic measurements. Specify the relative humidity in order to get as
accurate a leak estimate as possible.
Correct for atmospheric attenuation
by defining
humidity as follows:
1.
Using the touchscreen, tap the Settings icon to open the main menu.
2. Tap More until Air Mode Settings appears in the menu list.
3. Tap Air Mode Settings.
4. Tap More until the
Relative Humidity (abbreviated Rel. Humidity) appears
in the menu list.
5.
Tap the Change button next to Rel. Humidity.
A keyboard appears.
6.
Use the keyboard by tapping the touchscreen to input a numerical value.
7.
Tap ✓ save changes and close the keyboard. Tap X to cancel changes and
close the keyboard.
8.
Tap ← to save and exit the menu.
8-8-1-8 Leak Correction
The leak size estimation in the device has been calibrated based on a data set
from a large sample of leaks. It might, however, underestimate or overestimate
leak size since measurements depend on a number of different variables. If
the leak size estimate differs significantly from known observations, adjust the
device by setting the leak correction factor. A leak correction less than 1.0 will
produce smaller estimates, while a leak correction larger than 1.0 will produce
larger estimates.
Set the leak correction as follows:
1.
Using the touchscreen, tap the Settings icon to open the main menu.
2. Tap More until Air Mode Settings appears in the menu list.
3. Tap Air Mode Settings.
4. Tap More until the
Leak Correction (abbreviated Leak Corr.)
option appears
in the menu list.
5.
Tap the Change button next to Leak Corr.
A keyboard appears.
6.
Use the keyboard by tapping the touchscreen to input a numerical value.
7.
Tap ✓ save changes and close the keyboard. Tap X to cancel changes and
close the keyboard
.
8.
Tap ← to save and exit the menu.
