8-2 Power On/Off the device
8-2-1 Package 1
Power on the device by pressing the power button until there is an audible click.
The system starts in approximately 10-15 seconds. Wait until
the head-ups
display loads
before taking measurements.
Press the power button until there is an audible click; then, release to power off
the device. After powering off the device, wait until the Power LED also powers
off before attempting to power the device on again.
AFTER POWERING OFF THE DEVICE, WAIT UNTIL THE POWER LED ALSO
POWERS OFF BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO POWER THE DEVICE ON AGAIN.
DO NOT BAG THE DEVICE WHILE THE POWER LED IS ON.
DO NOT BAG THE DEVICE WHILE THE HEAT SINKS ARE HOT. BE CAREFUL
WHEN TOUCHING THE HEAT SINKS AND BAGGING THE DEVICE.
IF YOU DO NOT USE THE BATTERY PACK FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME, PUT
THE BATTERY PACK IN A COOL AND DRY ENVIRONMENT. THE BATTERY PACK
WILL DISCHARGE OVER TIME; THEREFORE, THE BATTERY PACK SHOULD BE
CHARGED OCCASIONALLY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE BATTERY PACK
8-1-2-1 Battery Pack Charge Gauge
Press the charge gauge button to test the state of the battery charge. This is
approximate only and the most accurate results are after 2 minutes of no load.
The battery yields ~6 hours of usage. Though the battery usage depends on
multiple variables which may decrease the usage time.
