Replacing 1U RAID Systems Cooling Module

The 1U system’s cooling module(s) are secured by two retention screws. To replace

the cooling module, follow the steps below:

WARNING!

The fan replacement process should be completed within five (5) minutes. If the

process takes too long, the accumulated heat can damage the system.

1. Simply locate the faulty cooling module and unscrew the two retention screws.

Gently ease the cooling module out of the enclosure.

2. Insert the replacement cooling module into the slot and secure it into the

enclosure by tightening the retention screws.
