logical drives can be created from drives in JBOD.
LD0 mapped to CH0 AID, CH1 BID, CH2 AID and CH3
BID;
LD has to be assigned to both controllers A and
B to enable remote replication.
LD1 mapped to CH1 BID, CH0 AID CH3 BID and CH2
AID;
LD has to be assigned to both controllers A and
B to enable remote replication.
NOTE
In the event of single controller failure, a logical drive is accessed through the
host IDs managed by the alternate RAID controller. Host IDs and port IPs do
not fail-over to the surviving controller. Therefore, the EonPath multi-pathing
driver is necessary for path redundancy and controller failover.
