Important notice

The use of Infortrend-certified components is strongly recommended to ensure compatibility, quality,

and normal operation of your Infortrend products. Contact your distributor for a list of Infortrend-certified

components (e.g. SFP, SFP+, HBA card, iSCSI cable, FC cable, memory module, etc.).

ESD precautions

•

Avoid touching the PCBs (printed circuit board) or connector pins of the hard drives.

•

Avoid dust, debris, carpets, plastic, vinyl, and Styrofoam in your work area.

•

DO NOT remove the hard drives from their anti-static bags before the installation.

•

DO NOT stack the drives on top of each other without their protective drive trays. Even if the drives

are fixed to the drive trays, contact with the exposed PCB or the rear side interface may damage

the drives.
