Pull-Up/Pull-Down Device Register
Port x Pull-Up/Pull-Down Select Register
Internal pull-up/pull-down devices can be optionally applied to a port pin. This offers the possibility to
configure the following input characteristics:
• tristate
• high-impedance with a weak pull-up device
• high-impedance with a weak pull-down device
and the following output characteristics:
• push/pull (optional pull-up/pull-down)
• open drain with internal pull-up
• open drain with external pull-up
The pull-up/pull-down device can be fixed or controlled via the registers Px_PUDSEL and Px_PUDEN. Register
Px_PUDSEL selects the type of pull-up/pull-down device, while register Px_PUDEN enables or disables it. The
pull-up/pull-down device can be selected pinwise.
Note:
The selected pull-up/pull-down device is enabled by setting the respective bit in the Px_PUDEN
register.
