New accounts may be created by pressing the
“New User” button. This adds a line to the account
list. Usernames may be changed by clicking on them and typing a new name, as shown in the
figure. Accounts may be deleted by placing a tick in the check box on the left and clicking the
“Delete Users” button.
The password of a user may be changed here by clicking the
“Change”
button in the
“Password”
column.
An account is allocated a set of privileges, shown in the
“Rights” column. There are two levels,
“User” and “Administrator”. The general principle is that a “User” account only has sufficient rights to
be able to operate the system,
while “Administrator” rights are required for installation and
commissioning.
Note that, as mentioned on the web page, the default
“Administrator” account cannot be deleted nor
have its name or rights changed.
