The upper platen is ball-seated, whilst the lower
platen is positively located on the loading ram.
The lower platen is marked to allow centring of
both cubes and cylinders.
The hydraulic loading ram has a flexible cover
to protect it from debris produced during
testing. Mesh guards are fitted at both front
and rear to protect the operator. The front
guard is hinged for ease of access.
Fully compliant with BS EN 12390-4
in terms of Force measurement & the stringent
stability, alignment & restraint requirements of
the Load Frame
