4. Slide the mounting block onto the baby pin, and
tighten the locking knob until secure. You can
attach the mounting block horizontally or vertically,
via the 5/8-inch receivers on the sides (4a) or the
bottom (4b) of the block.
5. Make sure the ballhead’s locking knob is tightened,
and screw the camera onto the ballhead’s 1/4-20
bolt.
6. Use the ballhead’s locking knob to adjust your
camera’s position and angle.
Important!
Do not exceed the ballhead’s 6-pound
weight capacity. For larger cameras and lenses, use
a mini ballhead with a greater weight capacity, like
Oben’s MBH-11 ballhead.
Remove the mounting block and ballhead from the wall
plate to use it with any tripod, light stand, boom arm, or
C-stand that has a baby pin.
Once the mounting block is removed, the 8-inch baby
pin can mount a light fixture or accessory with a
5/8-inch receiver to a wall. Make sure the fixture or
accessory doesn’t exceed the weight capacity of your
wall fasteners.
