9.3 Machine settings
9.3.1 Sand supply system
When the sand hopper is filled, it is forbidden for people to be within the reach of the
machine. It is also forbidden to climb into the sand hopper.
The machine weighs approx. 850 kg when filled with sand.
Use only dry sand. Moist sand can block the machine.
Procedure Illustration
Filling
1.
Close the hopper's valve. Indicator in
position
2. Secure the tractor to prevent unintended
starting or rolling away
3. Fill the hopper with dry sand.
Starting injection
1.
Slowly lower the machine while it is moving
and the engine is revving slowly.
2. While the machine is being driven, open the
hopper’s valve. Indicator in position
Stopping injection
1.
Raise the machine out of the ground in
a smooth motion while the machine is
moving.
2. Close the hopper's valve. Indicator in
position
