Remove the
Chassis Cover
Remove the top cover to check that everything is fully seated including memory
modules, IO cards, and mid-plane fans.
1 Loosen the Knurled captive screw and slide the cover backwards toward the
rear of the chassis.
2 Check that everything is fully seated.
3 Lift the cover up and off the chassis.

Warning
Except for short periods of
time, do NOT operate the
system without the cover in
place. The chassis cover must
be in place to allow proper
airflow and prevent
overheating.
