- DVB-CA Configuration
ASI Port Input and Output Configuration
Use the ASI Ports tab page to manage the ASI ports for the BNP. Note that an ASI port cannot be used
for simultaneous input and output: only one direction per port may be selected.

tab page.

At the selection field for any particular ASI, select either
Input
or
Output
.

Click
Apply Configuration
to save changes.
Creating Input TS(s) for DVB-CA System
Use the
Create GigE Transport Stream
screen to create an input transport stream for which programs
are to be encrypted.
Menu Path
Access via
BNP Element Manager
Grooming ->
Mapping
window
,
right-click on an input GigE or
ASI port and select
Create Transport Stream
from
the popup menu.
1.
Enter the
TS Name, IP Address
, and
UDP Port
of the Input
TS for the programs to be encrypted.
Guidelines for entering parameters in this screen are
provided in “Creating Input Transport Streams” on page 109.

Click
OK
to save and use the settings displayed in this
screen.
