Sensors with diagnostic capabilities to NAMUR can be evaluated.
If the input is used as an analogue channel, it can be diagnosed at any time via the steady analogue
value in the system variables ANALOG00.
If the analogue input is configured for current measurement, the device switches to the safe voltage
measuring range (0...32 V DC) if the final value (21.7 mA) is exceeded and the respective error bit in
the flag byte ERROR_CURRENT_Ix is set. If the value is again below the limit value, the input
automatically switches back to the current measuring range.

variable I0x_MODE.
