OJ Sensor Calibration

Align sensor to point toward the object you wish to
detect. Fasten securely.

Push and hold button for about 2 seconds until the red
LED flashes. The red LED will go off and the yellow and
green LED will flash alternately.

Press button once with the object in place. The yellow
and green LEDs go off for about 1 second and then
flash alternately again.

Press button once without the object in place. The yellow
and green LEDs go off for about 1 second. When the
green LED comes on, the unit is in the operation mode. If
the red LED flashes after this step, calibration is not pos-
sible. This may be due to a marginal application or mis-
adjustment of the sensor. Adjust and retry the application.

The sensitivity can be set using the remote programming
wire (pin 2/white wire) instead of the pushbutton. To 
activate remote programming, connect the wire to L+
for PNP sensors or L- for NPN sensors for the time
specified in the above steps.
