3 Installation
3.1 Hardware

Connect device to the voltage supply .
►
Connect device to the Ethernet interface of the PC using the network cable .

3.1.1
Measures to avoid multiple reflections
When measuring the following objects, multiple reflections may occur:
●
Very shiny surfaces
●
Inner walls of hollow bodies (e .g . boxes)
●
Surfaces at shorts distances to the device (e .g . walls)
Multiple reflections increase the time of flight of the light and thereby make the distance to the device
seem longer .

Do not put the device on a flat surface (e .g . table) for presentation purposes .
