14.3 Automatic ground plane detection
The switch is used to activate or deactivate the automatic ground plane recognition . The automatic
ground plane detection corrects the position values of the device in real time, especially the pitch angle,
the roll angle and the height . The ground in the visible range of the device is used as basis .
The "automatic ground plane detection" is used for line structures with little height, for example, windrow
with a height < 0 .3 m .
In case of line structures with a height of > 0 .5 m, the "automatic ground plane detection" is not
necessary .
Only use the "automatic ground plane detection" if the ground in the visible are of the device is
constantly visible . The line structure must not cover the entire ground .
