7 Electrical connection
The unit must be connected by a qualified electrician.
The national and international regulations for the installation of electrical
equipment must be adhered to.
Voltage supply according to EN 50178, SELV, PELV.

Disconnect power.

For reliable function, the sensor housing must be
electrically connected to the counter-electrode
(grounding).

Use the housing connection (see drawing) and
a short piece of cable with a core cross-section
of at least 1.5 mm
2

When using metal tanks, the tank wall serves as
the machine earth.
For plastic tanks, a counter-electrode must be
provided, e.g. a metal plate inside the tank in
parallel with the probe. Adhere to minimum
distances to the probe.
