On delivery, the two yellow LEDs (LED1 and LED2) indicate the switching

status of output OUT1 This can be configured via IO-Link

(→ 9.2.4)

Fig 2: top view

1: LED1 (yellow) = switching status OUT1

2:  LED2 (yellow) = switching status OUT1

(OUT2)

3: LED3 (green) = operating status

The inductive teach button is actuated with a metal object (eg a

screwdriver 1 x 5,5 mm) by applying it flat to the teach surface.

No operation is triggered by actuating the button briefly (less than 1 s) or

continuously (longer than 30 s) (static activation)!

9  Parameter setting

On delivery, the unit is set to detecting water-based media (e.g. coolant emulsion).

In many cases the factory setting is sufficient, so that no further settings are

required

► Check the function by performing an application test) (→ 10)

In case the factory settings are not sufficient:

Adapt the unit to the application

The unit can be parameterized using the inductive teach button

(→ 9.1)

 or

via IO-Link

(→ 9.2)

Some functions are only available via IO-Link
