9 Object directory (OD)
9.1 Object 1000h - Device Type
The object at index 1000h describes the type of device and its functionality� It
consists of a 16 bit field and describes the device profile in use� A second 16-bit
field gives additional information about optional functionality of the device� The
additional information parameter is device profile specific�

via the emergency object� The error code is located in the least significant word�
