► Connect GND of the M12 connector to CAN_GND�

 

NOTE 

Reverse polarity protection is no longer ensured if the housing is externally 

grounded�

 

NOTE 

To avoid damage to the device, connect/disconnect the M12 connector only if 

the device is disconnected from power�

5.3  Antennas

 

NOTE 

Only connect or remove antennas if the device is disconnected from power� Put 

the device into operation with connected antennas only�

 

► Do not extend or shorten the antenna cable�

 

► Please observe the antenna manufacturer’s notes�
