BAR FEEDER GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The bar feeder in question has been planned and manufactured in order to automatically feed
the bars to be turned on the lathe.
It can feed bars with different (round, square, hex) sections and of maximum length equal to
that of the spindle liner.
The operating cycle is directed by a PLC, integrated in the electrical control panel, which
interacts with the lathe controls.
The bar feeder is provided with a remote control allowing the operator to perform operations in
manual mode (tooling phase) without leaving the working area.
The phase of preparation and tooling of the working change (diameters or different sections) is
extremely easy and quick.
Remnant ejection can take place with the feed either of the bar pusher or of the following bar.
