The SATA power cable can be bought from IEI. See Optional Items in Section 2.4.

4.6.2 Serial Port Connector Cable (Four Ports) Cable Connection

The WAFER-945GSE is shipped with one four serial port connector cable. The four serial

port connector cable connects four serial port connectors on the cable to the 40-pin serial

port connector on the WAFER-945GSE. To connect the four serial port connector cable,

please follow the steps below.

Step 1:

Locate the serial port connector

. The location of the 40-pin serial port

connector is shown in

Chapter 3

Step 2:

Align the connectors

. Correctly align pin 1 on the cable connector with pin 1 on

the WAFER-945GSE 40-pin serial port connector. See

Figure 4-11

Step 3:

Insert the cable connectors

Once the cable connector is properly aligned with

the 40-pin serial port connector on the WAFER-945GSE, connect the cable

connector to the on-board connectors. See

Figure 4-11
