3.4 SIM Card Installation 

Follow the steps below to install a SIM card. 

Step 1: 

Release the six retention screws that secure the battery cover to the 

MODAT-550A. 

  WARNING: 

Before removing the battery cover, make sure that the system power is 

turned off and all power to the system has been disconnected. Failing 

to do so may cause severe damage to the MODAT-550A and injury to 

the user.

Step 2: 

Lift the battery cover up to remove.
