S te p 3: Insert the LAN cable RJ-45 connector. Once aligned, gently insert the LAN
cable RJ-45 connector into the on-board RJ-45 connector.
4.4.4 S e ria l De vic e Co n n e c tio n
The KINO-SE-i2 has two single female DB-9 connectors on the external peripheral
interface panel for a serial device. Follow the steps below to connect a serial device to the
KINO-SE-i2.
S te p 1:
Locate the DB-9 connector . The locations of the DB-9 connectors are shown
in Chapter 3 .
S te p 2:
Insert the serial connector . Insert the DB-9 connector of a serial device into
the DB-9 connector on the external peripheral interface. See Figure 4-7 .
