2.6.3 TPM Module
A TPM connector on the KINO-690AM2 is interfaced to the AMD SB600 Southbridge
through the LPC bus. The AMD SB600 Southbridge supports TPM version 1.1 and TPM
version 1.2 devices for enhanced security. Three TPM are available from IEI. The three IEI
TPM are listed below:
Infineon TPM module
Sinosun TPM module
Winbond TPM module

2.6.4 Super I/O chipset
The iTE IT8712F Super I/O chipset is connected to the AMD SB600 Southbridge through
the LPC bus. The iTE IT8712F is an LPC interface-based Super I/O device that comes
with Environment Controller integration. Some of the features of the iTE IT8712F chipset
are listed below:
PC98/99/2001, ACPI and LANDesk Compliant
Enhanced Hardware Monitor
Fan Speed Controller
5V Power Supply
Two 16C550 UARTs for serial port control
Keyboard Controller
Watchdog Timer
Serial IRQ Support
Vbat & Vcch Support
5V Power Supply
