2.3.1 Supported Processors
The IMBA-690AM2 supports the following AMD Socket AM2 processors
AMD Athlon™ 64 processor
AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 dual-core processor
AMD Sempron™ processor
2.3.2 DDR2 Memory Controller
All processors supported by the IMBA-690AM2 CPU card have their own DDR2 memory
controller. The DDR2 controller has the following features:
Up to 12.8GB/s memory bandwidth
800MHz 128-bit DDR2 SDRAM controller
Supports up to four un-buffered DDR2 DIMM
Each DIMM has a maximum capacity of 2GB
The DDR2 controller on the processor is interfaced to four DIMM sockets on the
IMBA-690AM2.
