4.1 System Maintenance Introduction
If the components of the AFL2-W15A-N270 fail they must be replaced, such as the
wireless LAN module or the motherboard. Please contact the system reseller or vendor to
purchase the replacement parts. Memory module replacement instruction for the
AFL2-W15A-N270 is described below.
4.2 Motherboard Replacement
In the case of motherboard failure, please contact an IEI sales representative, reseller or
system vendor. The motherboard is accessible after opening the rear cover.
4.3 Memory Module Replacement
The flat panel PC has a preinstalled memory module. If the memory module fails, take the
steps below to replace it.
Step 1:
Remove the back cover. See
Section 2.6
.
Step 2:
Locate the memory module on the motherboard of the flat panel PC
Step 3:
Remove the memory module by pulling both the spring retainer clips outward
from the socket.
Step 4:
Grasp the memory module by the edges and carefully pull it out of the socket.
Step 5:
Install the new memory module by inserting it at an angle, then pushing down
until the clips snap into place (Figure 4-1).
