S te p 8: Install the new DDR3 memory module by pushing it into the socket at an angle
( Figure 6-4 ).
S te p 9:
Gently pull the spring retainer clips of the SO-DIMM socket out and push the
rear of the DDR memory module down ( Figure 6-4 ).
S te p 10:
Release the spring retainer clips on the SO-DIMM socket. They clip into place
and secure the DDR memory module in the socket.

S te p 11: Replace the internal aluminum cover and secure it to the chassis using seven (7)
retention screws.
S te p 12: Replace the back cover and secure it using fourteen (14) previously removed
retention screws.

6.5.2 WLAN Ca rd Re p la c e m e n t
The AFL2-17AB-H61 has one WLAN card slot. To replace the WLAN card, follow the
instructions below.
S te p 1:
Follow all anti-static procedures. See Section 6.2 .
S te p 2: Turn off the power. See Section 6.3 .
S te p 3:
Remove the back cover. See Section 6.4.1 .
S te p 4: Remove the internal aluminum back cover. See Section 6.4.2 .
