Use the PME Resume BIOS option to enable activity on the PCI PME (power
management event) controller to rouse the system from a suspend or standby state.

After setting the alarm, the computer turns itself on
from a suspend state when the alarm goes off.

Use the Resume on Keyboard/Mouse BIOS option to enable keyboard or mouse use to
rouse the system from a suspend state. The system will turn on when a mouse or
keyboard is used.
