NOTICE FOR INSTALLATION OF DOOR LOCK OR

AUTOMATIC DOOR (24V)

If you control 24V door lock or automatic door, you have to use extra power and

external relay.

Not using extra power and external relay may damage the relay of device and cause

malfunctions.

NOTICE FOR CONNECTION OF POWER OR READER

When you supply power to each product,

you must connect power GND to earth

GND.

SMPS (Switching Mode Power Supply) is recommended for power supply

and

IDTECK’s ID40WA is recommended.

If

device and external reader do not use same power, to match the electric

potential, connect each GND to earth GND.

Connecting to earth GND removes potential difference between devices and

prevents malfunctions caused by surge or thunderbolt. Not connecting Earth GND

may cause communication error and malfunction such as changed system

configurations by incoming external noise and shorten the life of the product
