How to: Reboot the Kiosk PC
Overview
Re-booting the kiosk PC is the main method to quickly resolve minor faults and is
the first step in most diagnoses. Rebooting the kiosk PC may correct faults
internal to the PC and with some USB connected peripherals, such as the
passport reader and touch screen. Faults in external hardware units such as the
serially connected Zepetronics printer or the I/O controller (lights & sensors) may
require a full power cycle (next section) to resolve or further diagnose.
Key operated external reset switch
1. Insert the reset key into the top lock, turn

clockwise and release back to start
position. Remove the key.
Software Maintenance Mode
2. Alternatively, with the kiosk in maintenance
mode (previous section), select reboot
from the touchscreen menu.
