38.1 Adjusting the saddle height

1. Swivel the quick-release lever outwards.
2. Adjust the saddle to the required height.

When doing this, observe the minimum insertion depth of the seat post.
3. Once you have adjusted the saddle to the correct height, align the saddle in a straight
line with the frame.
4. To secure the saddle in position, swivel the quick-release lever inwards until it is flush
with the seat tube.

If you cannot swivel the quick-release lever in as far as the seat tube, you can reduce
the initial tension by turning the adjusting screw in an anti-clockwise direction.

Then swivel the quick-release lever inwards again until it is flush with the seat tube
in order to close the seat post clamp.
5. Check whether the saddle can be rotated.

If you can rotate the saddle, increase the initial tension of the quick-release clamp by
turning the adjusting screw in a clockwise direction.
