3.3.2.
Container Mode
The Diana Peristaltic Pump can be set to identify how much total volume of fluid has been
attached to the unit in the source container, system will track how much volume has been
removed. The unit will provide a warning message (see below) to the user when the unit
predicts that source container will be empty based on the previous subset of transfers.
On the Drug Set Up screen, select the volume of the source container. User can enter the
volume or select a predetermined container size. Enter Lot number and Lot Expiration Date of
the new source container. Press

3.4.
Priming / Calibration Process
The unit allows a user to choose the fluid type and volume to calibrate the system with. It is
recommended to calibrate the machine during change of tubing set, desired volume, destination
container or when the unit has transferred over 30,000 mL from all fluid transfers. The fluid type
can be selected in the Set Up Tab.
