Tools and Parts Needed
•
Two 7/16-inch wrenches
•
Wire stripper
•
Four #10-32 Phillips screws (length to be decided by installer) to
connect rack ears to rack
•
#2 Phillips screwdriver for the rack-ear connections and output bus
bar cover
•
#1 Phillips screwdriver for the AC input connector
•
5/32-inch flathead screwdriver for the AC input wire connection
•
3/32-inch flathead screwdriver for the form-C alarm relay
connector, alarm, and sensor wire connection

Quick Install Guide
•
Unpack and check that the unit and all materials have been
delivered.
•
Obtain the recommended tools.
•
Check and verify the configuration.
•
Mount the unit.
•
Connect the chassis ground according to the site design, and in
accordance with local electrical code standards.
•
Connect the sensors and alarms.
•
Connect the loads.
•
Connect the battery.
•
Insert the breakers and Power Modules.
•
Verify the system wiring.
•
Connect and energize the AC power source.
•
Configure the software settings.
•
Energize the loads and battery connections.

System Configuration
CAUTION
Risk of personal injury or damage to equipment and
property. Always observe the following:
•
Ensure the unit has the correct polarity for the application
(see Table 2).
•
Ensure that there are enough matching Power Modules
available to support the application.
•
Do not combine 1,500-watt and 700-watt Power Modules
within the same unit.
•
Do not mix voltages of the Power Modules.
NOTE: Power Modules and accessories must be ordered separately.
