Traceroute Test
Executes a tracerout test against a particular node.

Node ����������
Enter the node’s (device’s) IP address or Domain Name of up to 64
characters.

Maximum Hop Count ��
Select the maximum hop number.
(Default: 16)
• Options: 4, 8, 16, 32

Timeout���������
Select the response time.
(Default: 3)
Note: If there is no response within the selected time, a time out error is
returned.
• Options: 1, 3, 5 (seconds)

DNS Lookup ������
Select “Enable” to convert the node’s (device’s) IP address into the host
name. (DNS name resolution)
(Default: Enable)

<Traceroute> ������
Click to run the traceroute test.
•The test result is displayed as shown below.
•
Click to save the result to a PC as a text fi le (extension: “txt”).
•
The fi le is saved as “tracert_
node’s address
.txt.”
•Click <Back> to return to the Traceroute Test screen.
