This manual describes based on the KX-HDV230. The name or icon of the buttons may differ, depending on the
telephones.
CANCEL ���������
Cancels the call, or the setting operation.
CONFERENCE ( ) ����
Establishes a local three-way conference call.
Push [CONFERENCE] or [HOLD] during the conversation, dial the
number that you want to join the conference call, and then push
[CONFERENCE] after the invited extension has answered.
REDIAL (
) �������
Redials the last dialed number.
MUTE/AUTO ANS (
) �� MUTE:
Mutes or unmutes during a conversation.
The mute icon blinks on the screen while in the muted
mode.
AUTO ANS:
(Needs to be set in advance)
Automatically answers an incoming call after ringing
several times.
HEADSET ( ) ������
Makes on hook or off hook on the headset if connected.
MESSAGE (
) ������
Accesses the voice massage server to check for received voice
messages.
Pushing in standby screen enters the answering operation.
TRANSFER (
) ������
Transfers a call to another extension.
While transferring a call, push [Flash] and then this key to cancel the
transfer and return to the original call.
HOLD (
) ��������
Puts a call on hold.
SP-PHONE (
) ������
You can talk hands-free.
LINE1/P1 ���������
(Only for the KX-HDV130) Functions as Flexible button 1.
LINE2/P2 ���������
(Only for the KX-HDV130) Functions as Flexible button 2.
