Setting up the KX series SIP phones

Using an external DHCP server (KX-HDV series)
When using a DHCP server other than the VE-PG4’s built-in DHCP server, do the Pre-provisioning procedure
to the SIP phone.
Refer to the manual provided with the SIP phone for details.

Connect to the DHCP server, and then turn ON the SIP phone.
• The network settings will be automatically set.

Confirm the assigned IP address of the SIP phone.

Use the software keys below the display and cursor to move in the menu, and
push <OK> or <Enter> to apply.

Push <Setting> or <Setup>.

Open the IP Address status screen.
(<Menu> > System Settings > Status > IPv4 Settings > IP Address)

Check the IP address, and then press <Back>.

Press <CANCEL>.

Turn ON the Embedded Web port.

Open the Embedded Web screen.
(<Menu> > Basic Settings > Other Option > Embedded Web)

Select "On," and then press <OK>.

Press <CANCEL>.

Continue to do the Pre-provisioning described on page 4-15.
