Setting up the KX series SIP phones

Assigning a static IP address to the KX-UT series phones
Assign a static IP address, and do the Pre-provisioning procedure for the SIP phone.
Refer to the manual provided with the SIP phone for details.

Without connecting to the DHCP server or to the currently working network, turn ON the SIP phone.

Enter the static IP address of the SIP phone.

Use the software keys below the display and cursor to move in the menu, and
push <OK> or <Enter> to apply.

Turn ON the SIP phone, and then push <Setting> or <Setup>.

Open the static IP Address setting screen.
(<Setup> > Network Settings > Network > Static)

Enter the IP Address of the SIP phone, and push <Enter>.

Enter the Subnet Mask, and then push <Enter>.

Push <CANCEL>.

Turn ON the Embedded Web port.

Open the Embedded Web screen.
(<Setup> > Network Settings > Embedded web)

Select "On," and then press <Enter>.

Press <CANCEL>.

Push <CANCEL>.

Connect the SIP phone to the network.

Continue to do the Pre-provisioning described on page 4-15.
