Turning ON the transceiver

Before using the transceiver for the first time,
the battery pack must be fully charged for optimum
life and operation� See “BATTERY CHARGING�”

Rotate [Rotary Selector] to select an operating
channel�
<Power ON Scan operation>
Depending on the presetting, when the transceiver
is turned ON, a scan automatically starts� The scan
stops when a call is received�
NOTE:
When the Power SW ON function is turned
ON, the Priority A channel is selected each time
the transceiver is turned ON� In this case, the
transceiver does not start scanning when it is turned
ON�

To turn ON the Power SW ON function, set the following
setting to “Enable” using the programming software�

for 1 second to set the currently selected channel
as the Priority A or B channel�
