Set the radio to communicate with a repeater at 146.780– MHz, 100.0 Hz tone

Turn on the radio and make sure it’s unlocked
(press and hold SET to unlock)

Press the right M AIN to select the right
transceiver

If the right display is in M em ory mode, press
the right V/M Hz to enter VFO m ode
3.
Press the right V/M Hz to select tens of M Hz,
then turn the right big knob so that the right
display reads

the right big knob so that the right display

Press the right V/M Hz to select kHz, then turn

Press SET repeatedly until the low er right

TONE again to set the tone for this repeater

for the frequency of your choice

Press and hold the right M /CALL until you
hear a single beep

Turn the right big knob until the right display

Press and hold the right M /CALL to save the
frequency and settings
Now stored in m em ory channel 37
Recall a stored memory setting

Turn on the radio and make sure it’s unlocked

If the right display is not in M em ory mode,
press the right M /CALL to change to M em ory
m ode
2.
Turn the right big knob until the right display
reads your desired channel num ber
The stored channel is now ready for use
