8-19-13 Date and Time Settings
8-19-13-1 24 Hour Time
24 Hour Time, i.e. military time, is enabled by default. Convert to standard time
as follows:
1.
Press the Menu button to open the main menu.
2. Press down on the Thumbstick until the General tab opens.
3. Using the touchscreen, tap Time/Date sub-tab.
4. Toggle 24 Hour System to the Off position by tapping the switch. The switch
will turn gray when disabled. Enable the 24 Hour system by tapping the
switch again. The switch turns green when active. Saving and conversion
occurs automatically.
5. Press the Back button exit the main menu.
8-19-13-2 Time Zones
Select a time zone as follows:
1.
Press the Menu button to open the main menu.
2. Press down on the Thumbstick until the General tab opens.
3. Using the touchscreen, tap Time/Date sub-tab.
4. Tap Time Zone sub-tab.
5. Press-and-hold the on the screen; then, drag up or down on the touchscreen
to scroll through the time zone list.
6. Tap the relevant time zone.
7. Tap < Time/Date. Saving and conversion occurs automatically.
8. Press the Back button exit the main menu.
8-19-13-3 Manually Set Date/Time
Manually select a time zone as follows:
1.
Press the Menu button to open the main menu.
2. Press down on the Thumbstick until the General tab opens.
3. Using the touchscreen, tap Time/Date sub-tab.
4. Use the rotary dials to set year, month/day, hour, and minutes by pressing-
and-holding the on screen dials one at a time; then, drag up or down on the
touchscreen to set parameters.
5. Press the Back button to save and exit the main menu.
